Latuli has quickly become one of the most impressive new restaurants in Houston, and for good reason. This restaurant blends beautiful design, exceptional service, and a menu that delivers on every level. While it is primarily Gulf Coast cuisine, the menu is globally influenced, and their dishes are rooted in fresh, high-quality ingredients. It’s the perfect restaurant for your next special date night.

It’s clear a lot of thought went into the space, and that same attention to detail carries through the entire dining experience. It’s beautiful inside– modern, yet homey and sprinkled with touches of Texas. Plus the staff was friendly, so accommodating, and overall excellent.

We started our meal with the seared snapper, which was delicately crisped on the outside and buttery tender inside. The Denver cut steak was another standout—rich, flavorful, and even more meaningful when we learned it came directly from one of the owner’s personal farms. It just shows the level of care and attention that goes into the restaurant’s dishes. On the side, we ordered the charred broccoli and batata bravas, both of which held their own and had the perfect texture.

The surprise favorite of the night was a daily special: Eggs + Chorizo. It brought comfort, heat, and just the right balance of richness and spice. We ended the night with their spiced peach cobbler, which is one of the best we’ve ever had– seriously, don’t leave without trying it!

Latuli boasts a standout menu, great ambiance, and an excellent staff– all the ingredients for a great date night. We highly recommend checking them out– they truly pay attention to all the small things, and it shows!
