This Saturday, August, 18, 2018, is National Fajita Day, and today we're sharing 5 great Houston-original spots to celebrate, along with some specials going on this weekend!
1. Fajitas A Go Go
A rather new addition to the Houston fajita scene, Fajitas A Go Go opened up earlier this year in partnership of the founder of Tacos A Go Go, Sharon Haynes, and Jeff Black. No frills and glamour here, just super-instagrammable, authentic street tacos.
WHAT TO ORDER: Rotisserie Chicken or Beef Sirloin Fajitas
Special: Free queso and chips with dine-in and carry-out orders. Free delivery with online orders through their website.

2. El Tiempo
The beloved El Tiempo! Known for their strong margaritas and out of this world fajitas, El Tiempo is the perfect spot to meet up with friends to celebrate National Fajita Day. Be sure to ask for extra melted butter on the side!
Another incredible spot with strong margaritas. We went for lunch the other week and got one of the specials that came with one fajita taco, and it was top notch. Love the authenticity of their dishes.
Originating here in Houston, on Weslayan and Bellaire to be exact, Fajita Pete's has expanded to 10 locations, with 5 on the way! Formally known for its catering, Fajita Pete's also offers in-store dining to enjoy fajitas in single-serving amounts. They hand roll ALL their tortillas and marinate their meat in lime and pineapple juice for 24-hours to make it super flavorful and tender. Fajita Pete's is a bit of a hidden gem, and we could not be happier to have found them!
WHAT TO ORDER: Mixed Fajitas (1/2 lb is enough for 2!)
