The Houston Coffee Shop Series may have ended, but that has not stopped us from exploring the new coffee shops that have been popping up around town. I had my eye on the openings of these three new coffee shops for quite some time and was excited to finally check them out first hand! Hope this inspires you to do the same. All three are b-e-a-utiful.
1. Coterie
Nestled right in Downtown, next to Market Square Park, beneath a high-rise apartment, is Coterie. Both a coffee shop and wine bar, this new establishment is everything lux. From marble tabletops to gold silverware to colorful floral wallpaper, Coterie is just absolutely stunning. The cafe offers a carefully curated menu of coffees, wines, and bites such as pizza, eggs benedict, and steak, just to name a few.
Still in their soft opening, Wonderland is still extremely brand new. The coffeeshop is in the Spring Branch District, right off the intersection of US-59 and I-10. Greenery lines the walls and bright and colorful flowers hang down from the ceiling. It's such a whimsical space, and I am obsessed!
The second location of Slowpokes officially opened recently! I was a huge fan of the Heights location, but it was a bit of a drive for us. Now that they are right down the street, the Richmond location may just be our new go-to coffee shop. Of course, the interior is super aesthetically pleasing, but the coffee is also fantastic.
