Location

I cannot believe it is October already! It seems like September zoomed by, and apparently it was incredibly busy because I realized I haven't been too active on the blog this past month. We have a lot happening this October, so get ready for an action packed month, including another possible food and beer pairing event! (More details to come!)

THROUGHGOOD COFFEE

The Good

• The music selection is absolutely perfect. I was really diggin' it the whole time
• Large parking lot, especially for the Heights area
• Tacos, donuts, and pastries available for purchase
• Large outdoor patio area
• Pet-friendly!
• Wifi available

The Bad

• A bit pricey. Paid $5.14 for a latte with almond milk

The Good

• Big open space with indoor and outdoor seating (obsessed with both front and back patios!)
• Great for small or large groups
• Bites available if you're looking for food and coffee

The Bad

• The coffee is subpar (we both got a specialty drink), but it's known for a good brunch. We'll have to come back to try the food!
• Gets pretty crowded over the weekend, so if you're looking for a quiet place to work then, this is not your spot
• Mostly street parking, which is typical for the Montrose area

• Local, small batch specialty coffee beans from Argus Coffee Co
• Quaint, little spot in Downtown
• Happy hour everyday after 5pm - $2.50 Texas beers, $1 off all other beers, 1/2 off pastries

The Bad

• Tight parking lot up front (although we came on a weekend and was lucky to find a spot)
• Not the most photogenic place
