But of course, we have to talk about the feast of food we had! The menu at Amore Houston is a celebration of authentic Italian cuisine, curated to satisfy even the most discerning palates. 

For starters, the Prosciutto San Daniele and Carpaccio offer a delightful prelude to the main course, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to using premium ingredients. The Prosciutto was so thinly sliced and just melted in our mouth!

We also really loved their seafood platter that featured octopus, shrimp, and fresh oysters!

Let's talk about the star of the show—the cheese wheel Tagliolini: a pasta dish that's not just served, but crafted table-side in a spectacular display straight out of a cheese wheel! Topped with delicate shavings of truffle, this dish is a symphony of flavors that captures the essence of traditional Italian cooking. 

But the indulgence doesn't stop there. They also have crispy pizzas and a dedicated Truffle menu!! As massive truffle lovers, we were so excited to have a whole section of the menu dedicated to our favorite mushroom. 

Aside from all the pasta, Amore offers amazing mains and meats such as their tender lamb chop. And speaking of mains, their Thanksgiving Duck promises a unique twist on a classic dish, perfect for those looking to explore beyond traditional Italian fare!

No visit to is complete without indulging in their decadent desserts. The Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu are standout favorites, each bite a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. For a theatrical finale, try the Baked Alaska, torched table-side for a dramatic presentation that adds to the dining experience!
