It's April! Can you believe it? Daylight savings has come and pass, and it is officially Spring! Who else is excited for patio weather? I sure am!

This month's brewery series features three excellent breweries, all with outdoor patios to soak up the sun on while drinking a nice cold beer this season.

BUFFALO BAYOU BREWING COMPANY

Highlights

  • Known as Houston's "Most Creative Brewery"
  • Some tables inside, but decent size outdoor seating with games
  • Currently only open on the weekends
  • Parking is currently only street parking...But they are opening up a new taproom and brewery late this summer since they've outgrown their current space!

BAILESON BREWING

2322 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77005

Highlights

  • Small microbrewery that just opened up a couple years ago by a husband and wife duoOutdoor seating, dog-friendly
  • Only open on the weekends, special events on Thursdays
  • Small parking lot next to the brewery, but street parking in walking distance
  • They bring in local pop-ups and food trucks every week

8TH WONDER BREWERY

Highlights

  • Spacious indoor and outdoor space, dog-friendly
  • Street parking is available but is scarce, especially on the weekend
  • Large variety of brews to choose from, along with non-alcoholic beverages
  • Normally have food trucks parked outside - try the Elote Fries from Eatsie Boys!
  • $15 gets you 3 beer tokens and an 8th Wonder souvenir glass
