Patis & Toyo may just be our new favorite Filipino restaurant in the Houston area! They opened last August, serving up traditional yet approachable Filipino cuisine, and wow were we blown away! The restaurant itself is modern yet inviting and sets the stage perfectly for a crave-worthy dining experience (like I'm still dreaming of their lumpia and kare-kare)!
On the menu, you'll find all your favorite Filipino dishes like Adobo, Lumpia, and Halo Halo, and we're convinced that you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything we tried was expertly crafted and absolutely delicious!
In terms of food, we tried: Lumpia, Crispy Pork Belly Chips, Pork Adobo, Kare-Kare, Sinigang Na Hipon (Shrimp Sinigang), Pancit Bami, Sisig Bangus, Mais con Hielo, Halo Halo, Sizzling Cassava Cake. As for cocktails, we highly recommend the Sampalok Margarita and Calamansi Mojito.
