Now that it’s summer, we think it’s always the perfect time for a waterside margarita! And frankly, we would never turn down some chips and queso as well. At Lago Mariscos, We enjoyed all of that while seated on a lovely outdoor patio with a waterside view!

Located in Sugar Land, Lago Mariscos has a spacious indoor seating area with plenty of colorful seating that make it super fun and vibrant! They also have lots of TVs, so you don’t have to miss your favorite sports game. Outside is a large patio that overlooks a small pond with very aesthetic string lighting for after the sun sets. And did we mention water views?!

When we visited, we got to sample a few of their margaritas. It was like our own personal margarita flight! We tried the Classic Lime, Mango Chile, and Strawberry! All of them were refreshing and are offered in their Happy Hour starting at $3.99! 

Their Happy Hour deals are available exclusively in their bar area and also include food specials such as street tacos, mini ceviches, empanada and shrimp, boiled shrimp, chicken fajita quesadilla, and oysters. 

Outside of the happy hour they have a ton of amazing seafood on the menu! First, we tried their fresh oysters that were topped with a tangy house sauce. 

They also have fresh grilled octopus, shrimp, and a wide variety of ceviches. The ceviches all had a citrus forward flavor that still allowed the raw seafood to shine. 

For an extra special vibe boost, they have live music on Tuesdays- Sundays plus the bar stays open until 1a on Friday and Saturday nights if you’re really looking to party!
