Say hello to Chocho Hot Pot, the newest all-you-can-eat hot pot experience that just opened its first U.S. location in Katy, TX. Originally a favorite in Canada, Chocho Hot Pot brings a premium and beautifully designed dining experience that instantly sets it apart. The menu is expansive, with over 50 ingredient options, a full dim sum bar, and even a build-your-own jelly dessert station!

What makes Chocho Hot Pot truly stand out is the quality and variety. They source fresh ingredients locally, and it shows in the crisp veggies and rich cuts of meat. You’ll find everything from beef, lamb, and ribeye to shrimp and more—all laid out market-style for easy choosing. Plus, they offer varying noodles and dumplings that act as a broth sponge.

One of our favorite features? You’re not limited to just one broth flavor. Each guest gets their own pot and can opt to split it in half with two broths—perfect for sampling a little of everything or keeping your ingredients separate. It’s something we really appreciated and hope other hotpot restaurants begin to adopt. 

We also loved the dim sum selection, served in the cutest steamer baskets and available unlimited with your meal. From dumplings to buns, these bite-sized sides make a great hot pot break (or a warm-up while your broth gets going). And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we found ourselves at the dessert bar crafting a bowl of iced jelly—with options including a panda-shaped jelly that’s almost too cute to eat.

The interior at Chocho Hot Pot is hands down one of the nicest we’ve seen for hot pot in Houston. It’s sleek, modern, and thoughtfully designed with lots of greenery and warm tones—giving it a cozy yet upscale vibe that’s great for date nights and group dinners.

Pricing is $49.99 per person, or $39.99 after 9pm, with $5 off for vegetarians. There's a two-hour dining limit, with last call 20 minutes before time's up. Our group thought it was well worth the trip, and it’s a place we will continue to recommend to friends and family!
