Most Korean BBQ-loving Houstonians are likely familiar with Handam BBQ in Chinatown, but what they don't know yet is that they just opened a new location in the Heights! Already a favorite in Houston’s Chinatown for its generous banchan (side dishes), quality meats, and great value, Handam has officially opened a brand new location inside the loop, making it easier than ever to get your KBBQ fix.

Lunch here starts at just $19.95, which already includes a solid selection of meats. For just $5 more, you unlock their full lunch menu with even more variety. Dinner brings two all-you-can-eat options: $30 gets you the base dinner set, and for $35, you gain access to premium cuts like LA galbi, marinated sirloin, marinated beef short ribs, and even spicy octopus for those looking to branch out. If AYCE isn’t your thing, they also offer a la carte options so you can build your own perfect spread without committing to the full feast.

Of course, no Korean BBQ experience is complete without banchan, and Handam never skimps. You’ll find all the classics: kimchi, japchae, fishcakes, pickled radish, and everyone’s favorite, corn cheese. It’s all refillable and included with your meal; something we look forward to every time! And by the way– a la carte orders still include unlimited banchan.

One of our favorite features at Handam is their smokeless charcoal grills. You still get that rich, charred flavor that makes Korean BBQ so addictive, but you won’t walk out smelling like a campfire. They have all the right factors that make Korean BBQ so popular, and at an amazing value! Handam BBQ’s new Heights location is great news for meat lovers inside the loop.
