Piola in Midtown has long been a go-to for authentic Italian eats, but if you haven’t been in a while, here’s a reason to bump it to the top of your list: their unbeatable all-you-can-eat nights. We’re talking house-made gnocchi on the 29th of every month and bottomless pizza every Tuesday night—for just $21 a person.

Let’s start with gnocchi night. Every 29th of the month, from 5pm to close, Piola hosts an AYCE gnocchi feast that’s become a bit of a local legend. Their Gnocchi ai Quattro Formaggi is what dreams are made of—pillowy, rich, and blanketed in a perfectly creamy four-cheese sauce. The best part? The restaurant rotates through ten different sauces throughout the night, so you can try a little of everything until you’re full (or you say “no more!”).

If pizza’s more your thing, come back any Tuesday for their AYCE pizza night—except when it falls on the 29th (because gnocchi takes priority). For the same $21 price, you’ll be served five different pizzas, freshly made and rotated until you throw in the towel. The Cannareggio is a crowd favorite—savory, crispy, and rich with flavor—but the Pizza Houston deserves some love too. It’s vegetarian-friendly and topped with creamy avocado, which gives it a unique and satisfying twist.

What we love most about Piola is that while the prices are casual, the quality is anything but. All the pizzas are hand-spun and cooked thin-crust style in front of you, and the gnocchi is made in-house. The pastas are imported straight from Italy, and you taste the difference—especially in classics like the Pappardelle alla Bolognese. And if you’ve got room, don’t skip dessert. Their Tiramisù is the perfect way to end a carb-fueled night!
